This chicken noodle soup recipe is very easy, and a very good caption for when you don’t have time to make a soup that is totally from scratch.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • 4 (14.5 ounces) cans of chicken broth
  • 1 (14.5 ounces) can vegetable broth
  • ½ pound chopped cooked chicken breast
  • 1 ½ cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Step: 1 In a large pot liquefy the butter over medium heat. Then add onion and celery and cook for about 5 minutes till just tender.

Step: 2 Now add the chicken broth, vegetable broth, chicken, egg noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix and combine and drive to a boil.

Step: 3 Lessen the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, serve hot.
