slow cooker chicken and dumplings

A very easy crockpot chicken and dumplings recipe for the filling, consoling meal on a cold, snowy day!

Ingredients
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 (10.5 ounces) cans of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 1 (10 ounces) package of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 cups water, or as needed to cover

Step: 1 Put the chicken, condensed soup, onion, and butter in a slow cooker. Then add enough water to cover it, and stir well. Cover and cook on High for around 5 to 6 hours.

Step: 2 Now about 30 minutes before serving, rip up the biscuit dough into pieces. Then settle the dough in the slow cooker, and cook till the dough is no longer raw in the center.

Serve hot straightaway and enjoy this yum!
