baked ziti

This baked ziti is always a strike! this was prefered of all my dinner guests. You can also make this without the meat!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound dry ziti pasta
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
  • 6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 ½ cups sour cream
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Step: 1 Drive to a boil a large pot of lightly salted water, then add ziti pasta, and cook for about 8 minutes till al dente; drain.

Step: 2 For now, put a large skillet over medium heat to brown the ground beef and onion; stir in the spaghetti sauce and simmer for about 15 minutes.

Step: 3 Now preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and Butter a 9×13-inch baking tray.

Step: 4 Lay out 1/2 of the ziti in the bottom of the arranged dish, and top it with Provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/2 of the meat sauce, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese, and the left meat sauce. After that top with grated Parmesan cheese.

Step: 5 Now bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes till heated through and cheeses have melted. Enjoy this yum!
