Delia’s Grilled Shrimp Sonora

A friend of mine gave me this recipe who lives in Guaymas, a famous fishing town in the state of Sonora, Mexico. A great idea for the family favorite at BBQs.

Ingredients
Delia’s Grilled Shrimp Sonora method
Step: 1 Heat up an outdoor grill for medium-high heat. Put butter, oil, cheese, and parsley into a blender. Lid, and puree till smooth. Then, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step: 2 Now butterfly the shrimp letting the shell on. Start from the head, cut almost through the flesh, down the center of the shrimp’s back, and to the tail. Then, open the two sides and lay them out like an open diary. Into the butter mixture dip the shrimp, or if the mixture is way too thick to dip then rub it onto the shrimp.
Step: 3 On the preheated grill put the shrimp shell side down. Cook them for about 2 to 3 minutes per side or until they are bright pink on the outside, and the meat is no longer limpid in the center.
