Quick Tamale Hash

One of the best and easiest ways to use leftover or dry tamales without any extra work or ingredients. I use chicken tamales, but any savory tamales will work.  If you feel like then serve them with a fried egg on top.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 tamales, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons homemade Mexican tomato sauce
  • salt to taste
Quick Tamale Hash method

Step: 1 Take a skillet and heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped tamales and fry for about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Now add tomato sauce and season with salt; lid and cook for about 3 minutes till the tamales are soft. Serve right away.
