A very easy and quick salsa chicken recipe! I found this recipe a few years back, and that will be a household favorite. According to your taste, you can use mild, medium, or hot salsa. You can serve it with Spanish rice and Mexican-style canned corn.

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 4 teaspoons taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream (Optional)

Step: 1 Warm up the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking tray. Put the chicken breasts in the arranged dish. Dust seasoning mix on both sides of chicken breasts; Spill salsa on top.

Step: 2 Now bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes or till the chicken is tender and juicy and juices run clear.

Step: 3 Sprinkle chicken equally with cheese. Continue baking for 3 to 5 minutes more or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Then, top with sour cream, serve and enjoy.
