Chuck’s favorite mac and cheese

Make this mac and cheese with cottage cheese that can easily be doubled for a potluck or family function. The crowd will gonna love it!

Ingredients
  • 1 (8 ounces) package of elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 (12-ounce) container of small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 ounces) package of shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Step: 1 First preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and Grease a 9×13-inch baking tray.

Step: 2 Take a large pot of lightly salted water and drive it to a boil. Cook the elbow macaroni in boiling water, stirring at times for about 8 minutes till tender yet firm to the bite. Drain.

Step: 3 Now mix the bread crumbs and liquefied butter at once in a small bowl.

Step: 4 Shift the drained macaroni to the arranged baking dish. Then add cottage cheese, Cheddar, sour cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper; stir them till well combined. Scatter the breadcrumb mixture over top.

Step: 5 Now bake it in the preheated oven for around 30 to 35 minutes till golden brown on top, serve!
