Step: 1 Place a large saucepan over medium heat to heat the olive oil, and cook the onion till they are lightly brown. Then mix in the 2 cloves garlic, and cook for 1 minute, after that stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, 1/2 the oregano, and bay leaf. Season it with salt and pepper. Drive it to a boil, lessen the heat to low, and gently boil while preparing the meatballs.
Step: 2 Mix the ground round, bread crumbs, remaining oregano, remaining garlic, parsley, eggs, and cheese in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, Roll it into 1-inch balls and drop into the sauce. Cook for about 40 minutes in the sauce, or till the internal temperature of the meatballs hits a minimum of 160 degrees F (72 degrees C).
Step: 3 Take a large pot of lightly salted water drive it to a boil, and stir in the spaghetti. Cook them for about 8 to 10 minutes, till al dente, and drain. Serve the sauce and meatballs over the cooked spaghetti, enjoy.
