Christmas pudding and ice cream Bombe

ingredients
  • 2 cups Christmas pudding, crumbled
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 cup mixed dried fruits (such as raisins, currants, and candied peel)
  • 1/4 cup brandy or rum
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • whipped cream, for serving
  • Christmas sprinkles, for garnish
instructions

Step: 1 In a big mixing bowl, merge the crumbled Christmas pudding , softenend vanilla ice cream, mix dried fruit ,and brendy or rum . Blend until fully comined.

Step: 2 Line a 6-inch round bowl or pudding basin with plastic wrap, leaving overhang on all sides.

Step: 3 Spoon the ice cream mixture into the lined bowl , pressing it down firmly and smoothing the top. Turn over the plastic wrap to cover the top and freeze-up for at least 4 hours or overnight until firm.


Step: 4 Take away the frozen ice cream bombe from the bowl by take up the plastic wrap. Point it on a serving plate.

Step: 5 Pour the melted dark chocolate over the bombe , allowing it to drizzle down the sides.
Lay out the chocolte equally using a spatula .
Now take back the bombe to the freezer for 15-20 mins to set the chocolate .


Step: 7 Before serving , take away the plstic wrap and decorate the bombe with whipped cream and Christmas sprinkles. Now slice and sereve quickly.
