creamy baked onions

Cooking Time: 25 Minutes

🍽Serves: 6 to 7 persons

ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounces) bag of frozen pearl onions
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated pecorino romano cheese or 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne, to taste
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs

instructions

Step: 1 Turn on the oven to 350°F.

Step: 2 Cook onions according to package and evacuate well.

Step: 3 In a saucepan, liquefy butter and then add flour, cook for 3 to 4 minutes Add cream, cheese, and seasonings and cook gently until thick.

Step: 4 Add concoction to onions, cream with breadcrumbs, and heat 15 minutes or up to bubbly in the oven.
