  • 2 large russet potatoes, scrubbed

Step: 1 First, preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat and faintly oil the grate.

Step: 2 Poke with a fork to the potatoes several times; then put onto a microwave-safe plate. Microwave them on high power for about 5 minutes, turning the potatoes over halfway through, and slice each potato open longwise; microwave for 2 minutes more.

Step: 3 Now brush the oil on cut sides, and then season with salt and pepper. Cook them on the preheated grill for around 15 to 20 minutes till the potatoes become tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, turning halfway through.
