  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 (16 ounces) cans of sliced peaches in heavy syrup

Step: 1 Assemble all the ingredients.

Step: 2 Now preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Step: 3 And in a bowl mix self-rising flour, sugar, and milk till it is well combined and left with no lumps.

Step: 4 Then spill liquefied butter into a 2-quart baking dish (or a 9- or 10-inch cast iron skillet). Spill flour-milk mixture over top.

Step: 5 Now gently spill the peaches and syrup into the skillet. To spread peaches use a spatula evenly on all sides of the pan.

Step: 6 Bake it in the preheated oven for about 30 to 45 minutes until the crust looks golden brown.

Step: 7 Take out from the oven and let it cool for around 10 minutes before you serve.
