Poppy seed chicken iI

An excellent way to use up the leftover chicken. We get to serve this at our house at least once a month. Great with mashed potatoes or rice and a green vegetable!

Ingredients
  • 5 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 (10.5 ounces) can of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups crushed buttery round crackers
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • ½ cup butter, melted

Step: 1 First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Step: 2 Settle the chicken into a 9×13 inch baking tray. Take a medium bowl and stir together the condensed soup and sour cream. Then spill over the chicken. Stir together the crushed crackers, poppy seeds, and melted butter In a separate bowl. Scatter over the chicken and sauce.

Step: 3 Now bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, till the top of the casserole is browned and the sauce is bubbly, serve straight away!
