really simple cranberry sauce

Making this sauce on your own is very easy, and you can also do this a few days ahead. Plus, this one uses just only three ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 100g light muscovado sugar
  • 100ml orange juice, fresh or from a carton
  • 250g pack of fresh or frozen cranberries

Step: 1 Take a pan and tip into the sugar and orange juice, and then drive it to a boil. Mix in the cranberries, and after that gently boil until tender but still holding their shape – this will only take around 5 mins if using frozen cranberries, or if using fresh then for 8-10 mins. The sauce will become thick as it cools. (This can be kept in the fridge for about 1 week). Bring to room temperature before the day you serve.
